Ouzoud Excursions is a small, focused service: we take travellers from Marrakech to the Ouzoud Waterfalls and back, privately, for the day. We are a brand of Visit Morocco Trips, a Moroccan tourist transport company based in Marrakech and licensed to carry tourists by road (agrément de transport touristique n° 1550/TOUR/2018).
What we do
We run one trip, to one place, in three ways:
- Private transport: a vehicle and driver for your group, return trip to the falls with free time on site.
- Private Ouzoud tour: the same private vehicle, plus a local guide at Ouzoud for the walk to the falls and the viewpoints.
- Premium private day: driver, private local guide, boat ride and lunch by the falls, all organised and included.
We pick you up at your hotel in Marrakech, or at the nearest gate or car park if you stay in a riad inside the medina, as explained on our riad pickup page. Groups travel in a 7-seat minivan (1 to 7 people) or a 17-seat minibus (8 to 17 people).
What we do not do
We prefer to be clear about this. We do not run shared group tours: you will not be put in a bus with strangers. On this site we only offer day trips to Ouzoud, not multi-day circuits or hotel stays. Our drivers are not tour guides, and we do not pretend otherwise; when you want guiding, it comes from a local guide at the falls. And we do not charge per seat: our prices are per vehicle, published on our prices page, and the total for your group is shown before you pay.
Why private trips
Ouzoud is a long day out, with about 3 hours on the road each way. Doing it privately changes that day. You leave when it suits you, stop when you need to, and spend your time at the falls as you like, whether that means a long lunch on a terrace or an early start to beat the busiest hours. Families can go at the children's pace. Friends travelling together pay one price for the vehicle rather than per seat.
How we work
- The total shown before payment. You choose your offer, date, group size and options in the online form, and it shows the total price for your group and what it includes. There are no hidden extras.
- A deposit, then the balance on the day. You book with a 50% deposit online through PayPal (by PayPal account or bank card), receive your confirmation by email straight away, and pay the balance in cash to the driver on the day. The full rules are in our booking terms.
- Local guides at Ouzoud. On guided trips, your guide is a local guide at the falls who knows the paths, the mills and the macaques.
- Drivers who know the road. The route to Ouzoud crosses winding country roads; our drivers know it well and plan the timing of the day with you.
Responsible travel
The falls are a busy natural site, and we want our guests to leave them as they found them.
- Macaques: we ask every guest not to feed the Barbary macaques, an Endangered species, and to keep their distance. Research at Ouzoud links feeding by visitors to more aggression and to the group splitting. Our Ouzoud guide explains why.
- Waste: take your rubbish back with you, especially plastic bottles. Waste left by visitors is a known problem at the site.
- Local businesses: the cafés, restaurants, boatmen, guides and craft stalls at Ouzoud are run by people from the area. Lunch on a terrace or a boat ride puts money directly into the local economy.

Are your trips shared with other travellers?
No. Every trip is private: the vehicle and driver are for your group only, from pickup in Marrakech to the return. We use a 7-seat minivan for 1 to 7 people and a 17-seat minibus for 8 to 17 people. The price is per vehicle for the whole group, from €180 for 1 to 7 people, and the booking form shows the total before you pay.
Do your drivers act as guides?
No. Our drivers know the road to Ouzoud well, but they are drivers, not tour guides. When a trip includes guiding, it is done by a local guide at the falls who walks with your group. If you only want the ride and free time on site, our private transport option is the right choice.
